The NC State Fair kicks off today! Gates open at 3pm today and the fair last until Sunday Oct. 23rd at 11pm.
There are some new attractions like the State Fair Flyer that crosses above the midway lights 40 feet in the air – from the Orville Terminus on the west end near the Scott Building to the Wilbur Terminus at Gate 8.

Deep Fried Strawberry & Creme Puffs
Fried Chicken & Waffle Kabobs
