Another really cold day as DOT workers prepare the roads for some possible snow today.

ABC11 Meteorologist Don “Big Weather” Schwenneker says a weak storm moving out of Texas will bring Central North Carolina increasing clouds with a bit of light snow, or flurries, across parts of the region; but it will be too weak to bring any significant amount of snow.

However there is another system developing from Texas that could bring more of the winter mix on Thursday and coming into the triangle area by Friday morning.  There could be more of a mix of sleet and snow north and west of the triangle.
