Saturday former Bunn star athlete Tarik Cohen rushed for 295 yards and  three touchdowns of 74, 83 and 73 yards.  The North Carolina A&T Aggies beat Alcorn State 41-34 in the Celebration Bowl held in Atlanta. Cohen was announced as the game’s MVP.

This was the inaugural Celebration Bowl matching champions of the two historically black Division-I conferences.The universities choose to pass on the FCS playoffs and instead send their champions to the new Celebration Bowl. The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference sent North Carolina A&T and the Southwestern Athletic Conference send Alcorn State.

The bowl game gave each school a ton of national television exposure.
