Wake County School set up an online poll for parents and now some says it’s flawed. However, school officials say that is not true. They say you must enter the ID number for each child in your home, and any ID that does not match a student will be tossed out. The poll was so significant because it included a question about year round schools that would be very influential in possibly changing the system. They also shared that ending year-round school could create a 9 percent tax hike. That information lead to 60 percent of Wake parents saying they opposed ending year-round schools and Sixty-four percent of people without children in school oppose dropping year-round school and paying more taxes.
