A Wendell teen was arrested Tuesday and charged with multiple counts of sexual assault and kidnapping.
Seventeen-year-old Jamaal M. Estelle, of 7317 Campsite Drive, is charged with two counts of first-degree sexual offense, one count of attempted first-degree sexual offense and one count of first-degree kidnapping, according to arrest warrants filed in the Wake County Magistrate’s Office.
Estelle is accused of kidnapping and assaulting the person, who was under the age of 16, on Monday, the warrants state.
The News & Observer generally does not identify people who report sexual assaults.
Estelle is in the Wake County jail on a $1 million bond.
