Doug Jones became the first Democrat to win a statewide office in Alabama since 2008. Jones defeated Republican Roy Moore, 49.9% to 48.4%, yesterday.
The election was amid lots of controversy as Roy Moore had been accused of pursuing relationships with teenage girls when he was in his 30s.
