Officials said a 12-year-old boy accidentally shot himself while playing with a gun. The accidental shooting happened in Fuquay-Varina. According to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office the boy and an 11-year old girl related to him were playing with a gun when it was fired. The boy was taken to WakeMed for treatment.
