Pat Smith is a minister, founder of Pat & Emmitt Smith Charities, an author, public speaker and the first black woman to win Miss Virginia USA. She and Erica Campbell talked about the difference between social media and the reality of life. She explained that sometimes we can get sad watching people’s lives play out on the internet because we only post the good things. She talked about adjusting her social media habits to portray a more real version of her life by honestly sharing a bit of her struggle.
