Charlotte Hornets guard, Jeremy Lin is wasting no time in making a difference in our community. Determined to end bullying, Lin has launched a creative initiative to educate Charlotte students about harassment.
Students can earn points in a one month reading challenge for reading articles centered around bullying. “‘Bringing an End to Bullying” can be found at the Newsela website.
The contest began January 19 and is exclusive to Charlotte Mecklenburg School District. The school with highest number of points at the end of the Challenge will win a visit from Lin. BONUS!
