The only African-American living Nativity program in the Triangle region.

Mt. Pleasant Worship & Outreach Center presents its annual Live Nativity from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 15th and Sunday December 16th  on the church lawn. It’s free and open to the public.

There will be three performances each night  during the two-hour time period, with 10- to 15-minute breaks between each so that all guests will have an opportunity to see the full production, no matter what time they arrive.

We will have Mary, Joseph, angels and the three wise men, among others in costume in our play, heartwarming Christmas music and much, much more.

“Every year, this event gets bigger and more popular,” says Pastor Phillip A. Walker. “It’s a wonderful program for the whole family.”

Each 20-minute performance allows people to come to the lawn and watch the story of the birth of Jesus. Hot apple cider, hot chocolate, coffee and snacks will be served between show times in Mt. Pleasant’s Fellowship Hall.

Mt. Pleasant began holding the Live Nativity program in 2007. Last year, nearly 200 guests attended.

The church is located at 1424 Sawyer Road in Raleigh. For more details, visit http://mtpleasantworship.com/2012/11/december-15-16-time-for-our-live-nativity-production/
