Today the Board of Governors approved a tuition hike on UNC system campuses for the 2012-13 school year, while many protested.  Find out what this means for students.

The tuition hike approved by President Tom Ross and the BOG will raise fees by an average 8.8 percent, that is an increase of more than $400 on average.

About 75 student protested at the UNC General Administration Building today. 

Many fear that such increases will close the doors of higher education to many students.
