First it was the small screen of the NBC miniseries and now the story of the Temptations is heading to the stage on Broadway.
Remember, “My Girl,” “Ain’t too Proud to Beg,” “Papa Was a Rolling Stone.”? Or Otis Williams, Eddie Kendricks or David Ruffin? Then you will be able to sing along while they are performed on Broadway. Otis Williams, the Motown group’s sole surviving founding member, says a stage musical is in the works based on the 1998 NBC miniseries, “The Temptations.”
I know the movie “The Five Heartbeats” was also loosely made around the Temptations storyline as well.
