Minnesota’s Civil Law Committee approved the Personal Responsibility in Food Consumption Act that would effectively block people from suing fast-food chains and other food companies for their weight problems. If passed, The “cheeseburger bill” as it’s been called, will prevent consumers for blaming the industry for those extra pounds caused by super-sized fries, burgers or soda.
