Last week Carolina Panthers’ quarterback Cam Newton was filming near the Community School of Davidson and noticed a student throwing a football around. The student just so happened to be wearing his jersey! Newton got the okay from school administration, hopped the fence and surprised the students by taking time to throw the ball around with them!
Newton has reportedly been spending a lot of time in Los Angeles area filming his new Nickelodeon reality show that will debut in June. The final episodes were actually filmed in Charlotte, which allows Newton to participate in off-season training – and in surprising area children!
