Saturday Hundreds of people took to the streets of downtown Durham to pray for peace in the streets.
The City Prayer walk stopped at key locations in the city to pray for that department. Some of the stops included the Police and Fire Department as well as the County Court House Youth Detention Facility, Durham Library and many other locations throughout the city.
Pastor John Fitzpatrick of One Love Ministries along with other pastors, ministers, city officials and teenagers lead a prayer at various stops. I was blessed to pray for the media at the WTVD ABC 11 location stop. Pastor Fitzpatrick organized the walk, which began at Durham police headquarters.
