14yr old Reed Shannon is from Raleigh, NC and the star of the national touring production of Motown: The Musical. Reed stopped by the Light studio with Melissa today.
Reed attributes his growth in talent to the Raleigh Theater conservatory which he took class growing up and to very supportive parents. The musical is playing at the DPAC to sold out audiences beginning tonight – Feb. 22nd. Reed Shannon plays the roles of Young Berry Gordy, Stevie Wonder, and Michael Jackson.
Reed has appeared in productions of The Who’s Tommy, In the Heights, Oliver!, and Les Miserables at North Carolina Theatre.
