Group Challenges Gov. Pat McCrory To Live On Newly Proposed Unemployment Pay

Some leaders in the community are calling on Gov. McCrory to experience living on the newly proposed unemployment benefit of $350 a week.
A bill has been presented to cut unemployment benefits from $535 a week to $350 and will be considered by a house committee. If passed, Rep. Julia Howard says the proposal would take effect in July.
