Durham’s Mayor Bill Bell will try to settle a dispute of noise between a mega-church and the homeowners nearby.
Homeowners near the New Hope church are complaining that the “joyful noise” coming from the church is too loud and believe it violates the city’s noise ordinance.
The residents have filed a motion at city hall and Mayor Bell has scheduled a mediation meeting for Monday Nov. 19th.
