In being “politically correct” a Canadian author is spearheading a new verson of the famous poem “Twas The Night Before Christmas.” In it she has deleted the original version which states:
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
She has hired an illustrator to redraw Santa without his pipe and halo of smoke.
However, everyone is not happy with this new healthier Santa and argue … if you’re gonna be Politically Correct then what about him being overweight or even drinking.?
Is this sensorship going to far?
