Music World Gospel, founded by entertainment mogul/entrepreneur Matthew Knowles, has recently announced a major partnership with the American Heart Association to help raise awareness of stroke in the African American community.

Trin-I-Tee 5:7 and others prepare for the fall 2010 launch of the “Most Powerful Voices Gospel Tour.”

How does that impact the music or affect the label? It’s quite simple you see. Now that the partnership is underway, Music World Gospel label mates – specifically urban gospel trio Trin-i-tee 5:7 and contemporary gospel newcomer Brian Courtney Wilson will be a part of the AHA-sponsored and highly anticipated “Most Powerful Voices Gospel Tour.”

The musical trek will include live concert performances in seven major cities across the U.S. this fall. Beginning on October 8th in Little Rock, Arkansas, the “Most Powerful Voices Gospel Tour” will feature additional stops in Austin, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, and San Antonio, TX, Oklahoma City, and Tulsa, OK.

Why only the south? Who knows as of yet, but we believe it has something to do with the fact that Music World Gospel is headquartered in the Houston, TX area. Nonetheless, it still should be a great outing for both Trin-i-tee 5:7 and Brian Courtney Wilson. In each market, local artists will also have the opportunity to audition to participate in the concert later that evening. The top acts will perform in the concert in their market which will then be headlined by Marvin Sapp. Exciting news, right? Tell us what you think by posting in the comments section below.
