Rev. Barber, President of the NC chapter of the NAACP lead a rally in Raleigh against their school assignment plan… is it too late?

Community members, Pastors and students were all apart of the rally that was held Monday morning in Raleigh.  The group is protesting the school board’s decision to move away from a system that that bused students to keep balance of diversity and economic status in public schools.  Rev. Barber called has called it a “public emergency” and says he won’t stop fighting the board’s “morally wrong” decision.

Others, in favor of the decision think it’s time for Barber to stop protesting, saying the decision has been made.
