At least 80 Dead In Texas Floods
At least 80 people have died following the flash floods that hit central Texas early Friday, officials confirmed. Among the victims are at least 28 children in Kerr County. Ten girls and one counselor from Camp Mystic remain missing.
Governor Greg Abbott warned that flash flooding remains a threat, with more rain forecast across several regions.
Kerr County officials had previously discussed installing flood warning sirens, but the plan was never implemented.
