Chief communications officer of the Chicago Police Department said two “persons of interest” in the case were interviewed and later released without charges. Police say despite reports of the attack being staged there is no evidence that the alleged attack was a hoax and that actor Jussie Smollett “continues to be treated as a victim, not a suspect.” Read more in the link below.
