Wednesday night a man in a wheelchair was shot in the hip in downtown Raleigh according to police. The shooting happened on Person Street near Bragg Street just before 9:30 p.m. The injured man was taken to the hospital and the severity of the injury is unknown. The man’s identity has not been released and police are investigating the shooting.
