Did Jennifer Hudson just respond to Tina Knowles’ slight diss?
In case you missed it, earlier this week, Beyonce’s Mom was accused of slamming JHud after liking a comment stating, “Jhud sounds horrible.”
Shortly after, on Wednesday, Dec. 28, Knowles took to Instagram with a lengthy message to announce that she would be taking a break from the social media site after it was clear fans were not happy with her inadvertently liking a comment dissing the Grammy winner.
“I’ve known Jennifer Hudson for many years and have totally been in admiration of her talent and beauty and kindness I would never ever say anything negative about her or agree with anything negative,” Knowles wrote.
“My children worried that I might accidentally touch something when looking at other sites and have warned me about it. They always say that I am not that great on social media I have to be very careful,” she continued, explaining that she must have “accidentally” liked the comment while scrolling through videos of her superstar daughter. “I absolutely would not have touched a like or dislike on one of these sites.”
“I think if you look through my Instagram you’ll see that I am not a hater and I am not negative about people so to Jennifer for my mistake of accidentally touching it which I don’t remember doing I really apologize I totally love and Admire you,” Knowles added. “I’d have to be pretty stupid to do that knowing it would be everywhere, but I will be taking a break from social media as this is the bad side of it.”
Two days after Knowles’ announcement, Hudson appeared to respond to the drama in a post of her own. “Getting started on my New Years resolution list, hmmm let’s see,” the 35-year-old singer captioned a snap of her “2017 reminder to self.” “Don’t allow someone else’s ugly to mess up your beautiful.”
While it’s possible Hudson’s post had nothing to do with Knowles’ like-gate, the timing is interesting.
