NCCU Chancellor Passes Away After Battle With Cancer

NCCU’s Chancellor Debra Saunders-White passed away on Saturday after battling kidney cancer.
A vigil is scheduled for Monday evening at 5pm at B.N. Duke Auditorium on the campus.
White had announced a medical leave of absence in August to undergo more treatments for the cancer.
The former U.S. deputy assistant secretary for higher education programs had led NCCU since 2013. She revealed last year that she was battling kidney cancer.
