Police Officers Killed While Responding To Burglary Call In Manchester

According to police a man who exchanged gunfire with Raleigh police Monday morning has died.

A Raleigh police officer was wounded the gunfire exchange. The officer was taken to WakeMed for treatment. Police said the officer’s injuries were serious but not life-threatening.

Everything took place Monday morning shortly after 11:30 a.m. There was the report of a man with a gun at 241 Donald Ross Drive, near Raleigh Country Club.
