Strong storms knocked out power all over the triangle area last night and early this morning and still hundreds were without power this morning. Check the latest status by clicking below.
Around 4:30 a.m., about 296 people were in the dark in Wake County.
In Durham County, 860 people were without power and just over 600 in Franklin County.
ABC 11’s meteorologist Don Schwenneker says the National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center has part of our area again in a slight risk for severe weather later today. He also says heat indices will climb into the triple digits in spots today.
