AAA Carolina’s are asking drivers to pay more attention when behind the wheel. April is the month when drivers are being urged to avoid distractions like using a cell phone, eating, doing personal grooming and using GPS devices.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that, during 2014, distracted driving was responsible for crashes that caused almost 3,200 deaths and about 430,000 injuries nationwide.
