In Catawba County, outside of Charlotte a Good Samaritan was shot and killed by a motorist he was trying to help.

Around 5pm yesterday the suspect’s car slid off the road and got stuck in the snow when a group of people passing by stopped to help the man.

Reports said the group thought something was wrong with the man so they said they were going to call the police when the man jumped out of the car with a pistol and started shooting.

The group ran away from the shooter but not before one of them was shot to death by the motorist who got back into his car until police came and arrested him.
