Actress Stacey Dash is no stranger to ignorant statements….  well here’s some more dealing with the Oscars boycott.

Dash, appeared on  “Fox & Friends” Wednesday and said that calls to boycott next month’s Oscar award ceremony over the racial issue is “ludicrous.”

“We have to make up our minds,” she said. “Either we want to have segregation or integration. And if we don’t want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the (NAACP) Image Awards where you’re only awarded if you’re black.”

“If it were the other way around, we would be up in arms. It’s a double standard.”

“Just like there shouldn’t be a Black History Month. You know?” she said. “We’re Americans. Period. That’s it.”

The host, Steve Doocey then asked if she meant there “shouldn’t be a Black History Month because there isn’t a white history month?”

She responded, “Exactly. Exactly.”

 

BET vice president Stephen Hill fired back.
