They didn’t have all the numbers to hit the historic Powerball jackpot but two people from our area had enough of the numbers to walk away with $2 million dollars in Saturday’s historic Powerball Jackpot drawing. One is from Raleigh and the other from Spring Lake.
Winning Powerball tickets that matched all six numbers were sold in California, Tennessee and Florida. The two, $2 million winners in the Tar Heel state matched five numbers but did not hit on the Powerball.
There were three other tickets in N.C. that won $100,000, and 14 more took home $50,000. And I won nothing at all.
