Former UNC head basketball coach Dean Smith continues to prove to be one of the best coaches ever; even in death.
Smith who passed away in February at the age of 83 set up a trust that would give every letter-man who played under him $200.
Smith’s accountant says the checks went out to approximately 180 former players with a note attached saying, “enjoy a dinner out” with the money.
My opinion: “BEST COACH EVER!!!”
