Yasmin Eleby told her family and friends that if she didn’t find Mr. Right by the time she turned 40 then she would marry herself and that’s exactly what she did earlier this month. In a lavish ceremony with 10 bridesmades, where she was walked down the aisle by her mom, and married by her sister who is a minister, Yasmin celebrated being married to herself.
There ceremony was held at the Houston Museum of African American Culture, which fully embraced her idea.
