PR — Los Angeles, CA — The show must go on and the praise will go up! Gospel singer and songwriter, Donnie McClurkin, continues to press forward even after a challenge with his vocal cords. The 30 city tour recently kicked off at Fallbrook Church in Houston, Texas to a packed house and the people were not disappointed. The show then moved to Dallas at the Verizon Theater another full venue. Fans should get their tickets early for this show because the dates are selling out quickly.
“This tour comes at a time that’s really different for me,” says Donnie. ‘This is my time of fighting through heaviness. I had a bout of depression last month that was second to none. I don’t think I ever had it like that in my whole entire life. I want to take all those feelings and funnel them into every aspect of what we do in ministry. We’ve got to address that spirit of heaviness. We need to sing about it, talk about and sing about the remedy for it, which is God and one another.” Gospel music lovers will not want to miss Festival of Praise with two of the industry’s powerful singers.
