Durham’s board of education will hold a special meeting Monday at the Fuller Building and it is expected members will address concerns surrounding the superintendent of Durham Public Schools. The board is examining whether or not Durham Public Schools superintendent Eric Becoats could be using a district credit card for personal use. The board will meet in closed session Monday night and their agenda indicates they’ll consider confidential personnel matters, including how Becoats is handling the school system’s money.
