This morning the local Rescue Mission in Durham kicked off their annual back to school party and backpack giveaway.

For 14 years the Durham Rescue Mission has been providing bookbags and schools supplies to underprivileged children in the community. This year they are giving out as many as 4,000 backpacks and school supplies with the help of local business and people in the community.
