Event Description: |
There will be a “Back to School Rally & Giveaway” on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 11:00am in the city of Oxford NC. This event will take place at the Masonic Home for Children Gymnasium located on 600 College Street in Oxford. Free book bags with school supplies will be distributed to K-12 students in the Granville and surrounding counties (while supplies last). Children must be present in order to receive a book bag and doors will be open at 10:00am.
This event is presented by Remnant Community Development Corporation Inc., a 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation that serves youth in Granville and its surrounding counties. Remnant CDC motivates youth to stay in school. And, together with local and area businesses, they provide youth the tools needed to achieve their dreams and goals.
