Renowned gospel musician, singer and songwriter Elder George Jordan has reportedly passed away, according to recent details on GospelFlava.com.

The Detroit native was responsible for many well known compositions sung by church choirs all over the nation including the noted hit radio single “Jesus Can Work It Out,” which was popularized by Dr. Charles G. Hayes and the Cosmopolitan Church of Prayer Choir.

The song went on to be covered by Stellar Award-winner and the 2013 James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Award recipient singer/songwriter Kurt Carr & The Kurt Carr Singers on his Awesome Wonder album over a decade ago in 2000 and a remix was later produced by Cosmopolitan back in 2005.
