Even though many are still without power in NYC, they are fighting to get things back to normal. Today subways are rolling again, along with buses and train and are allowing free fares today and tomorrow. Also three of New York’s major airports are open again. LaGuardia reopened today on a limited schedule and Kennedy and Newark Liberty has already opened on a limited basis.
In the meantime former FEMA director “Bownie” (who was fired for his poor performance in helping during Katrina) has commented that he thinks President Obama responded too quickly to the storm and its victims.
