Students say she was bullied bad about her clothes and shoes.

Police in Columbus County are investigating the death of 10 year old Jasmine McClain, who hanged herself after being bullied over and over.  Jasmine’s mother says she found her daughter in her bedroom Monday night.

Now other students are coming out and reporting what they saw about the bulling incidents.

State lawmaker passed two anti-bullying laws two years ago, making it a misdemeanor to bully online but no specifics to punishments for other violators.

Authorities say it’s too early to determine whether anyone could face criminal charges in Jasmine’s death.
