A new Reuters/lpsos poll on the most trusted celebrities with Americans has Denzel Washington, Oprah Winfrey, Morgan Freeman, Will Smith and Michelle Obama making the top 10, but 89-year-old Betty White topping the list.

The “Golden Girls’ vet was voted the person most likely to drive up the business of a brand she might choose to endorse, according to the poll released Wednesday. She scored an 86 percent favorable opinion, beating Oscar winners Denzel Washington at No. 2, Sandra Bullock at No. 3 and Clint Eastwood at No. 4 in the survey of the 100 most popular personalities.

Oprah Winfrey (6th) tied with Harrison Ford, Morgan Freeman (7th) tied with Kate Middleton, Will Smith came in 9th and First Lady Michelle Obama ranked 15th in the most trusted personalities ranking.

Paris Hilton and Charlie Sheen ranked lowest on the poll.

Pop star Britney Spears, actor Mel Gibson and golfer Tiger Woods — who lost several major endorsements after his 2009 sex scandal — also fared badly.
