The White House is reporting First Lady Michelle Obama will be one of the volunteers working on the Extreme Makeover Home Edition project in Fayetteville on Thursday.
The foundation is laid and the walls have taken shape and the plan is to give Barbara Marshall the keys to her brand new front door on Langdon Street in just one week.
Organizers also say the build needs skilled tradesmen to volunteer. The show needs framers, trim carpenters, roofers, a retaining wall company, masons, wood siding installers and professional painters.
Volunteers must report to Fayetteville State University on Langdon Street to pick up hard hats and t-shirts. A bus will take the volunteers to the construction site.
