Tomorrow is the day that many young kids who play basketball hope to make it to one day – the 2011 NBA Draft.
The latest buzz is that Duke freshmen Kyrie Irving will go to the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick, while Derrick Williams from Arizona will go to the Minnesota Timberwolves with the following pick.
Turkey’s Enes Kanter is also a favorite of the T’Wolves, although late Tuesday, several mock drafts had Williams slightly ahead of Kanter for the pick. Originally a front-runner in the draft off his NCAA title, Kemba Walker of UConn is sliding in the lottery. Many don’t see him sliding past Sacramento at number 7. Many project him to go to either Toronto at 5, or Detroit at 8.
