A Pennsylvania woman who fell into a fountain while texting, now says she’s thinking of suing the shopping mall where it was happened…. But now after allegations of theft, she’s rethinking her actions.
The video of her tripping into the fountain has gone viral on YouTube has been viewed a million and a half times.
Now, a security guard has been fired for posting the security camera footage on the web and the woman in the video, Cathy Cruz Marrero, has hired a lawyer to explore whether security should have come to her aid.
“Nobody took my feelings into consideration. I’m sorry, nobody. Nobody called, are you OK? It shows in the video, nobody went to my aid. Not one single person went to my aid,” says Cruz Marrero.
Marrero, who works in the mall, says she was texting a friend and just didn’t see where she was going.
