stars of the top-rated TBS show Tyler Perry’s “Meet The Browns,” are releasing The Master Plan Limited Edition 3-Disc Box Set which includes Tamela’s hit CD, “The Master Plan,” David’s hilariously funny comedy CD, “Mr. Brown’s Good Ol’ Time Church” and a bonus DVD full of fan extras including behind-the-scenes on-set interviews, Cooking With The Manns TV special, a day in the Life of David and Tamela video biography, music videos from The Live Experience and The Master Plan, family photos, and much more, on November 16.

“We love our fans. They are so encouraging and inspiring to us. We decided to release this box set because we wanted them to give them a behind the scenes snapshot of what our lives are like and hear more from our hearts about why we do what we do. And, as a bonus, we threw in each of our new CDs – but don’t tell our distributor that. Just kidding!” Laughs David.

The box set features as much music, mirth and ministry as three discs can hold. In addition to the recorded projects by David and Tamela, the set also includes a bonus DVD of fan extras. The Manns taped a very special interview answering questions asked by the cast of their TV show family. Also included is a video biography of a day with David and Tamela highlights just what its like to walk in the shoes of these two very busy entertainers, “Making-of” behind the scenes footage of Tamela on the set of her music video “The Master Plan,” several music videos from “The Live Experience,” the couple’s first-ever cooking TV special “Cooking With The Manns,” family photos, and much more.

“Everyone is always asking us what we like to cook at the holidays and for special occasions,” says Tamela. “When we’re not on the go traveling for our TV show, we love to be at home with the kids, hanging out and creating and cooking up new recipes. We share some of our best on the cooking special. And you also get to see David in an apron!”

“The Master Plan” on Tillymann Music Group, debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Gospel Album chart, is Tamela’s third solo CD, following her “Gotta Keep Movin'”; and “The Live Experience,” which spawned a Top 20 Billboard Gospel chart hit and 2008 Stellar Award nominations for Female Vocalist of the Year

and Contemporary Female Artist of the Year. Prior to her solo career, Tamela was the lead singer of the multi-Grammy award winning Kirk Franklin & The Family group. Tamela was the featured soloist on the Grammy-nominated “Song of the Year” – “Lean On Me,” which featured Mary J. Blige, Crystal Lewis and Bono; “Father Can You Hear Me” and “Take It To Jesus,” also included on the soundtrack album of “Diary Of A Mad Black Woman.” Just this year, Tamela performed “Joy of The Lord” from “The Master Plan” on the nationally televised 2010 NAACP Awards at which she received a standing ovation.

David’s CD, the hysterically funny, “Mr. Brown’s Good Ol’ Time Church” is full of old-school gospel and comedy that’ll keep everyone in stitches. As the lovable, outspoken, saved and half sanctified, festively dressed patriarch of the family, Mr. Brown is the comic genius of this talented actor. Although the music world took notice of him when he, like his wife, tunefully teamed up with Kirk Franklin and The Family, David set his sights on acting. His debut as the high-strung, obnoxious gangster “Forty Ounce” in established screenwriter, and “The People’s Playwright,” David E. Talbert’s popular urban stage play “He Say? She Say? But What Does God Say?” met with rousing response. In short order, he then joined forces with one of America’s funniest actors and critically acclaimed playwright, Tyler Perry – affectionately known as the cannabis smoking, pistol-toting, crude-mouthed grandmother “Madea.” The illustrious actor has written, directed, and produced numerous plays including the stage play hit “I Can Do Bad All By Myself” where David remarkably immortalized the intrusively nosey, wisecracking, ashy-kneed, and outrageously funny neighbor “Mr. Brown.” David’s bravo performances to sold- out theaters led the way for Mr. Brown to become a principal character in Perry’s hilarious “Medea” stage comedies and films.

David and Tamela currently co-star on the #1 rated television show for African American audiences, Tyler Perry’s “Meet The Brown.” David reprises the hilariously funny family patriarch, “Mr. Brown” and Tamela plays “Cora Simmons” (Mr. Brown’s daughter). Tamela’s character on the television series originated from her role in the movie “Meet The Browns.” She and David have also starred in other Tyler Perry hit motion pictures including “Diary of a Mad Black Woman” and “Madea Goes To Jail”; and his plays “I Can Do Bad All By Myself, ” “Madea’s Family Reunion” and “Madea’s Class Reunion.”

As a result of David’s side-splitting masterful portrayal of the family patriarch and the sweet, sensible and giggly powerhouse songstress “Cora” played brilliantly by Tamela, Tyler Perry’s “Meet The Brown” continues to top the Nielsen ratings charts for most-watched TV show in African American households each week.
