Job seekers can attend a Triangle job fair today that is expected to attract applicants who are hoping for success.
The last job fair in the RTP included the National Guard, Dish Network, American Shingle and other companies.
The latest unemployment numbers show a steady decrease in the unemployment rate, which was 11.2 percent in February and has continued to drop to to 10.8 and then to 9.7 this August.
“What we’re seeing right now is employers are cautiously optimistic about hiring trends, and so we’re seeing opportunities for flexible work forces,” said Diane Johnson, regional vice president of Manpower.
Monday’s job fair is located at 105 Park Drive in RTP and begins at 11 a.m.
