Just a couple of weeks ago there were three shootings in one night in Durham. One of my friends lost her cousin, another high school buddy lost his brother.
Durham police have notice the pickup in crime inthe first half of 2010.
The latest statistics released Monday, speak for themselves. Violent crime – homicide, rape, robbery, and aggrivated assault – rose by 4 percent from last years time in Durham.
Property crime- burglary, larceny and motor vehicle theft have also increased 7 percent.
