State public health investigators say it was not the norovirus that caused many students to get sick at a conference in Raleigh. Instead, they say contaminated food at a banquet dinner caused the sickness at the Raleigh Convention Center and the Sheraton hotel. Investigators say early lab tests were positive for the norovirus, but later tests could not confirm the results. About 150 students got sick at a Youth Legislative Conference.
