  Today is the day RTP will begin on the shoulder driving for buses in Durham County. To reduce heavy traffic congestion The Research Triangle-area public transit system is being allowed to drive on the shoulder of the road to avoid traffic jams on I-40 and maintain bus schedules.

  Early Sunday morning a shooting occured around 11 a.m., at the Grand Arbor Reserve apartment complex in Raleigh, Nc. 22 year old Antonio Rasco, was shot and taken to Rex Healthcare with non threatening injuries. Police are charging Micheal Connor with attempted murder. Authorities are believing this incident was due to a domestic dispute.
